Exercise: Levels
Open ocean image
1. Increase the dynamic range of this image without any color shift using a levels adjustment layer, the threshold feature and an appropriate blend mode.
Make sure not to lose value, color or detail in any pixels. Name the layer “full range”.
2. Correct the color using another levels adjustment layer along with whichever of the 3 auto functions you think does the best job on this image. Name the layer with the one you used (auto color, auto contrast, auto levels).
3. Change the size of this image to the largest possible size that I told you in class is acceptable to email.
